Road Bulletins

Like this for 300 meters.
The ingress point
I think a culvert is blocked and caused a big pool which then poured over the road.
Pretty much the same as previous bulletin but at about 1050 elevation, the road has become a river. If this keeps up, I’d imagine it will be impassable at that point. As it was, however, we put the jeep in float mode and waded our way upward. After that it’s gold again til the end where there are about 4 massive bars that stop you about 300 meters from cutblock.

[From Roxy Bauer] - can drive past 1000m, but there’s some vehicular boulder hopping to do. It’s short lived though. Road great otherwise. Snow on the twin one FSR is intermittent, making skinning annoying. Would recco goretex boots, or trail runners for this section.

Skinning up around 1000m
[From Stephan Bernhard] - We climbed Snowspider Mountain from Twin One FSR. Patchy snow started at 940m, became continuous at 1050m. (Roughly around the 9.5km mark)

Gate was open, but has been closed historicallly
A few rutted out sections
One of the many bridges
All bridges were intact with new decking.
Looking back down Twin one from the end of the road. Road goes left here
Drove all the way to the 11.7km and then went up the "LZ1300" branch. All 3 bridges were in and road condition as overall good. They appeared to be doing active logging at the time (2021)
