Road Bulletins
The road has some pretty deep waterbars that may not be suitable in an SUV. Drove to 1200m without hitting any snow. There is a large rock in the middle of the road at some points but even wide trucks should be able to get around it. It should be moveable with a tow strap.
Snow line starts at around 1100m. That translates to 3km down the road but you could drive through a few of the patches until the 3.5km mark if you have a truck.
Road in good condition up to fork at 4.4 km. Not used above that as took left turn. No issues seen with road surface. Only difficulty is snow and ice coverage. Vehicles parked around 4km (above first bridge, before turn off / second bridge), some using chains and others not.
