We went to check this road out above the Wedgemount Lake trail head to see how far it could take us. There are a set of boulders blocking the road, but there's a gap on the left side just wide enough for a truck. I'm guessing that won't be around for long. In any event the road is rough and quite steep and only gets you to about 880m (after the first switchback) where a monster drop off exists where the pipeline has been installed. Too deep for a stock tacoma, but perhaps something customized or an atv could get through.
