Road Bulletins

Went as far as McKay Lake trail. No water bars or washouts. Road is steep and a little loose in some spots but overall pretty much an easy drive with 4x4 and a little clearance. Saw a Tundra pick-up park at the trail later so depending on your ride should be able to make it in a pick up to McKay Lake.

Drove to the McKay Lake Trailhead. The road has no washouts or serious waterbars at least to that point. There are fairly steep and loose sections that could cause some headache in a 2wd pickup especially if the road is dry and loose. Anything 4WD or AWD with decent clearance and a bit of patience will have no problem.

[From Tareef Dedhar] - gate is still open and road could be driven with 2WD to the Murdo Peak cutblock area. Albeit it’s in rougher condition than Lost Creek

Road was in good condition for 4WD and we went as far as Branch 4100 up to Murdo Peak
